When was shotcrete invented?
A taxidermist named Carl E. Akeley actually invented Shotcrete back in the early 1900’s. He propelled a dry cement material through a water injected nozzle, to fill the models of animals. Shortly after it was found that this method could be improved to effectively repair buildings.
